Five or six inches, 24 or 48 European country maps, jam circumference via TMC or online message, additional software for truckers and campers, … The eight new navigation models from Blaupunkt offer individual choices for beginners as well as for professional users.

All of them have an active holder with an integrated charging cable and a Bluetooth interface, with which each TravelPilot can become a personal communication center of the driver. On request, the devices are also available as a “Connect” version from September 2017, which uses online connections to evaluate congestion information from the Internet and synchronously take it into the routing.

However, the new models of the TravelPilot series go one step further: They can now be connected via Bluetooth to a mobile device and used as a communication center with hands-free system. On request, the traffic jam is handled via integrated Avanteq TMC or from September 2017 in the Connect version with the help of traffic messages, which are fed synchronously over the smartphone connection from the Internet.

The new TravelPilots are equipped with illuminated, capacitive touch screens, the screen diagonals of which are 12.7 cm (5 “) or 15.5 cm (6.2”) depending on the model. The view can be selectively displayed in 2D or 3D as well as buildings and landscapes with intelligent Autozoom.

Special equipment for trucks and camper vans

For camping enthusiasts or professional drivers and bus drivers, two model variants are equipped with special software. For truck use, for example, specific parameters regarding vehicle dimensions, axle numbers and dangerous goods can be entered, which play an important role during routing. In camping mode there are numerous information about pitches and interesting sights available.
