The small Grand Duchy in the middle of Europe has developed over the last few years into a mecca of travel motorhome tourism. With a lot of commitment and dedication, Henri Brack has used his camping and pitches for the interests of mobile tourists in Luxembourg. The German Caravaning Institute (DCI) spoke with its Marketing Manager Anna Hollenbach.

Question: What news is there on the Fuussekaul-caravaning pitch in Heiderscheidt?

Answer: In addition to the caravan site, we recently commissioned a gas filling system for our guests. We have built this special machine on a monthly basis, so that our parking space visitors are provided all around. From now on, all types of gas bottles from 1.5 kilograms to 38 kilograms can be filled easily and comfortably on site. The empty gas bottles must be delivered in the reception before 10.00 am and can be collected again shortly afterwards.

Question: Has there been any change in the campsite?

Answer: Yes, our new wellness complex has been successfully inaugurated and can of course also be used by our mobile home guests. The complex consists of a Finnish sauna, steam bath, cold water area, relaxation room and swimming pool and can be used on Friday and Saturday from 6 pm to 10 pm for 10 Euro (£ 8.50) per person.

Question: The campsite Leifreg right on the Obersee reservoir is now also operated by Camping Fuussekaul. Are there also special caravan sites offered?

Answer: Yes, starting from spring 2017, we also offer 23 beautifully designed dormobile sites with water, electricity and TV connections and a magnificent view of the Obersauer Nature Park. Camping Leifreg is located in a fantastic location, only 800 meters from the Obersauer Lake. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy fishing, boating, swimming and diving. And nature lovers will not come too short: right on the doorstep numerous hiking trails and routes for mountain bikers start through untouched nature. If you do not want to cook, look forward to the new snack bar brasserie with a beautiful outdoor terrace which is open from Easter to mid September directly on the spot.

Question: Are groups also welcome?

Answer: Kind regards. In the pre-and post-season, we have increasingly specialized in group stays of all kinds in recent years. We offer for groups a complete catering service, accommodation, group accommodation for common meals and get-togethers as well as extensive animation activities. These include sightseeing tours with our Fuussekaul tractor, visit the local brewery and the historic Tractormuseum, archery, climbing, bouble football, music, geocaching and much more.
