Dometic has now developed an app and smartphone control system for its high-quality compressor cooling boxes.

The flagship of the Dometic compressor cooler, the Coolfreeze CFX 100W, now has a WLan function. By means of a special app, all versions above the CFX 28 can be controlled and individually regulated by mobile phones.

The CFX 100W is highly variable for the power supply. With 12 and 24 Volt the box can be operated both on car as well as truck on-board networks. When connected to the fixed network, alternating voltages of 100 volts to 240 volts are possible. This ensures the opportunity of worldwide operation.

The Coolfreeze CFX 100W provides cooling down to -22 degrees Celsius even under difficult conditions. This is made possible by the specially developed high-performance compressor and a particularly high-quality insulation. According to the manufacturer, the box consumes up to 35 percent less energy than comparable cool boxes to keep the 87 liters content cold.

A three-stage battery monitor is housed in the heavy-duty housing. The memory function saves set values. In addition, the Dometic CFX 100W has a USB port for charging small appliances and a polarity reversal protection. The CFX 100W costs 1.239, – Euro (£ ~ 1.060).
